It is intended to use a pressurised household water supply or a supply that is gravity fed from a higher than the recommended height of the filter tap, the consideration can be given to using a tap stand. These are easily constructed using timber, plastic or metal.
Using this method will require a pressure gauge regulating the water pressure into the filter tap to a maximum of 0.5 bar (7.25PSI) equivalent to a maximum water head of approximately 5 meters.
If a household water supply is being used a pressure gauge can be fitted to the household tap along with a time clock if required.
